We have stayed at the Nakoma every year in Dec. for a weekend since they opened (covid year excluded). We love the property and the amenities. The last two years have been less than acceptable. For two years straight the heat in our room did not work and they couldn't fix it and couldn't move our room because they only have 1 pet friendly room (not true as I saw 2 other families with pets staying at the hotel). Putting space heaters in the room and telling us to run them only if absolutely necessary since they are a fire hazard, in winter in a blizzard! In addition, this year the pool was closed as the heater wasn't working, ok I get it things happen, but then we go to get in the hot tub and the jets are pushing out cold water and the showers in the locker room don't work. Finally, we were sitting in the lobby with friends at 7 pm one evening enjoying the fire and xmas tree and were told that the lobby isn't a place to socialize. So, to stay for amenities isn't a reason anymore and also if we want heat and to bring our pet isn't an option either. I'm extremely disappointed and there is never an apology or offer of help or solution when I inquire about things not working. Looks like our time at this property is ending and will stay at another local hotel.

This hotel was the nicest place to stay anywhere near Graeagle. It was absolutely posh, clean and everything appears brand new. Beautiful views and nice peaceful location. Not far from the corner barn in Graeagle.

The property was excellent, as was the staff. Friendly and extremely helpful. No lack of parking, so you didn’t have to walk far from your car.

very noisy in the common area most of the night, property was hard to find for new comers even with a navigator. desk clerks not there for the most part. over priced.

Our room and the property are beautiful, the hiking areas are maintained and great for walking. We were disappointed we did not get to the Rec Center or the Lloyd Wright Facility, but will make it a to do on our next visit. The Shower in our room was particularly luxurious. The only item we could see being improved would be that the WiFi service in the Inn was spotty and unreliable, which was not a deal breaker for future visits, but coupled with the minimal cell service it would create an issue if we had needed it for business or communications during our visit, and it would seem an easy fix.

The room was comfortable. Would have liked a mat in the tub. It was a bit slippery. Coffee maker in room did not work,

This hotel is nice enough, but way overpriced. We were also charged a “resort fee” of $25 per day, which applied to nothing immediately in the hotel, but instead (apparently) a pool area up the hill that we had no interest in using since we were there to golf in the area. Also, the rooms were fine, but countertops were dirty… the granite or quartzite seems to have permanent stains. I tried to clean myself, but no luck. Staffing seemed minimal as well, which seemed incongruent with the pricing, which ended up being close to $300 per night. Love the area, but next time will look for other hotel/stay options.

Beautiful, modern resort with world class golf, spa, and dining plus so many more fun activities and amenities like pool, trails, children’s play room, basketball, etc. Impeccable customer service. Fun for all ages. Booked my next stay already- this will be an annual tradition.
